ISOLDMYHOUSE.COM

The ISoldMyHouse.com Magazine was published for 3 years 2002 to 2005. It was distributed in 6 regions throughout New England in 11,000 locations. Each region published 20,000 magazines Bi - Weekly. This was a major undertaking as each magazine had to be completely unique for a specific region ME, MA, RI, CT, NH, VT. Naturally each regional copy had to feature homes in those specific area's. Here are a few samples of issues from the archives. Editor In Chief was Ed Williams who was the creator and founder of ISMH. The magazine ran  from 2002 - to 2005 at which time it was discontinued because of the impending real estate crash in 2005.

The Real Estate Crash was in full swing and lenders were about to close the faucet for lending completely.

By 2008 America had dumped $10 Trillion Dollars of bad loan debt onto China knowing these loans were going to fail. Some lending warehouses  were so desperate and greedy they brought mortgages current that were in default for the purpose of bundling them with good loans to be sold on the secondary market to unsuspecting suckers. Selling these mortgages as A+ Rated Mortgage backed investments with the full blessing of the rating company. The rating companies were committing fraud and the investors took it hook, line, and sinker. Now the house of cards comes tumbling down. Wall street bilkes the US citizens out of trillions of dollars as the US government bailed out the "To Big to Fail" Banks with your tax dollars.

What was really sad is that the investment firms actually were betting for the mortgages to fail, and made billions doing it. No one got into trouble, no one did any time in prison, and thousands of family's lost their entire 401K value that they had complied over 30 years. People took their lives via suicide. Only small fines were given to lenders like Country Wide, New Century Mortgage, Bank of America and all the other greedy little shits who jumped into the subprime mortgage business because of greedy desires. The ISMH  TV Show which aired Sat and Sun on WPN Channel 38. This show was very difficult to produce as we were in 6 regions. CT, RI, MA, NH, ME, VT.

CyberDyne Systems BBS was a Bulletin Board Service  I created in 1984. This is before Windows, before the internet, before Digital Cameras. Note the speed of the modems are 24 Baud. There were only a few things you could do with computers at the time because they ran a Disk Operating System called DOS. It was a non graphical interface usually consisting of ANSI graphics which was green text. All commands on a computer back in these days were carried out by a line of actual code you had to enter to create a result or function. Not fun at all compared to the ease of the machines today! Anyway, images below are some of my work created in DOS in 1982 using flatbed Scanners, Magazines, Actual Photos from film loaded cameras etc... These images were how we drove traffic (Users) to our system. Our Systems contained Operating Systems, Games, Images for download . You could play on-line games on these Systems however each computer networked only allowed one user (One user per computer). So you needed 50 computers to have 50 users on-line at once. Pretty barbaric. A 1 Gig Hard Drive was $1000.00. Memory was $100.00 per megabyte during this time period! We were the largest Military Graphic BBS System in the US in 1984
